Message from Superintendent Dr. Samuel A. DePaul

Greetings,

Spring has sprung, and we are in the home stretch of this 2012-13 school year.  While the school year does not end until May 23, I would like to congratulate our 2013 Colquitt County High School seniors as graduation day (May 25th) will be shortly upon us.  In turn, I would like to thank all of our students and their teachers for their hard work and dedication.  Let us all be reminded that we have work still be done before we enjoy the summer vacation.  I trust all students and staff will continue to be diligent, and parents we will look to you to continue to encourage your children to work hard.

Administratively, we continue to work on preparing the 2013-14 school year budget; and district wide, we are presently undergoing a rigorous accreditation process which occurs every five years.  Also, I would encourage everyone to view our recently prepared Strategic Plan and our updated "A Closer Look at Colquitt County Schools," both of which can be viewed on our website.

Finally, I would be remiss if I did not again thank all of your for your warm welcome and continued support.  From personal observation, it is without a doubt that in the Colquitt County Schools it is...Each Day - Excellence in Every Way!
